With this breathing exercise you will find inner peace

Just pause for a moment. When thoughts go in circles and you cannot calm down, mindfulness lets you become aware of the moment. Here is a nice exercise from our Selada Soul program / topic: Mindfulness. Your breathing is by far the most important starting point for mindfulness and relaxation. How come? Because your stress level and state of mind are closely related to your breathing.
If you learn to become more mindful through conscious breathing, you will get rid of stress, fears and worries in a matter of seconds.

That is how it goes:

  1. Sit or stand with your back straight and consciously relax your shoulders
  2. Close your eyes and put your hand on your stomach
  3. Focus your full attention on your breath: Breathe deeply into your stomach through your nose. Feel how the air you breathe flows through your nose, flows effortlessly into your body, your stomach expands and the air is distributed throughout your body. As you exhale, feel how the air flows out of your stomach again, the abdominal wall sinks again and how the airflow flows out through your nose.
